Cragg Quarry Video….

Cragg Quarry, Bacup from Tim Royle on Vimeo.
Great new video from Whitenosugar Productions featuring Rowan Sorrell, the trail designer and top rider, along with Ed Oxley (that’ll be me!) riding the trails at Cragg Quarry near Bacup, Lancashire.
Check out the dust, taste the roost! Get up there to ride if you get the chance. I’ll be using the trails at Cragg on the Flow course that I’m running on 21-22 August.

To get there do you just follow the Pennine Bridleway up Rooleymoor Road?

That’s the way yes.

Thanks. It’s near Bacup, Lancashire in the North West of England. And yes it’s a Lapierre X Control 410 on test for Singletrack magazine. It’s a great bike and will be reviewed in a future issue if the magazine.
Cheers

Great video. With half decent music for the first time ever in a MTB video. Why does every other riding film use the worst music ??

Looks fun, how long/big is the trail? I was up at lee quarry the other day and saw the chopper flying about, apprently it was dropping dirt to make a trail/link between Lee and Cragg quarry?

Cragg Quarry takes 15 to 25 minutes to do a lap. Usually it’s worth doing a couple of laps and stopping to session a couple of the sections. The link route will be finished by November.
Cheers
